Welcome to our weekly newsletter!
Oh my! It appears I've not sent a newsletter in a few weeks. I skip occasionally when there's a quiet week with not many new releases to talk about, but I didn't realise the last one was back on the 7th January! I guess we've got some catching up to do...
This week's new releases (and some other recent highlights from the last couple of weeks) follows below...

Brand new 20mm chunky dice reworked rulebook for even simpler set up and play! New spot UV and gold foil on box set it apart from other games on the shelf!
Comanauts : An Adventure Book Game
Dr. Martin Strobal, the greatest mind of our generation, lies in a coma. His Mobius Ring invention promised to change the world, but has instead given us our greatest disaster. Meant to provide the world with unlimited clean energy, the Mobius Ring malfunctioned, bathing Dr. Strobal in radiation, and creating a singularity that threatens to consume the world. We need him back, and the only way to revive him from his coma is to enter his subconscious and free him from the demons found within.
Comanauts is the second installment in Jerry Hawthorne's Adventure Book system following Stuffed Fables. This game of exploration and danger builds on the mechanisms first introduced in that earlier title, providing a new experience for more mature players. Race against time to revive Dr. Strobal by exploring his tormented mind. As players work together to uncover the secrets of the doctor's subconscious, they will follow his inner child across eleven different Comazones. There they attempt to locate and overcome the Inner Demon that holds Dr. Strobal hostage. Assume the role of 22 unique avatars as you explore the dangers and secrets of each world locked inside the doctor's dream. Can you free Dr. Strobal from his own mind before it's too late?
Chronicles of Crime (and optional VR glasses) (restock)
Chronicles of Crime is cooperative game of crime investigation, mixing VR experience and board gaming.
With the same physical components (board, locations, characters and items), players will be able to play plenty of different scenarios and solve as many different crime stories. They will start the app, choose the scenario they want to play, and follow the story. The goal being to catch the killer of the case they have been given in the shortest short time possible.
The VR experience only requires a mobile phone. Players simply put the optional extra VR glasses (sold separately) onto their mobile device, and put the VR glasses on their nose, holding their mobile device in front of their eyes, to immerse themselves in the game's universe and search for clues in a virtual world. (You can also use your own phone VR headset or use it in non-VR mode)
The City Council recently approved the zoning map for a new urban development — The Estates — featuring high-end infrastructure and a modern atmosphere for its citizens. Soon after, the banks awarded millions of dollars in loans to six real estate investment firms to help develop this new area. The zoning map for The Estates calls for two rows of four buildings each, located between the River and Main Street. The meadows on the other side of the River are to remain a recreational area for the City.
The players take on the role of investors seeking to make the most money by developing buildings in The Estates. Players will bid for the various building pieces and place them in The Estates to their benefit. All buildings in completed rows score positive points, while all buildings in incomplete rows score negative points. It is possible to have zero completed rows of buildings.
A game of The Estates lasts around 40 minutes and can be played in several rounds to experience a shifting economy.
