Welcome to our weekly newsletter!

Oh boy, the time certainly flies when you're busy - it's been weeks since I managed to get a newsletter out again! On the bright side, at least we can't be accused of excessive spam! ;)

We've been working on expanding our range and have more titles in stock than ever before! We also now have deck boxes in stock now as well as a few polyhedral dice sets for RPG folks....and another delivery tomorrow bringing even more varieties of dice as well as fancy dice trays and bags!

Oh....and did you realise there's less than 3 months until.....well, I don't want to say the word - you know what it is...where did the year go???

Stop by the store/website for a browse, there's lots of new shinies on there, but here are some recent highlights....

Wingspan European Expansion (Hot Preorder - Just announced!) £19.99 (RRP is £21.99)

In this first expansion to Wingspan, we increase the scope of the world to include the regal, beautiful, and varied birds of Europe. These birds feature a variety of new abilities, including a number of birds with round end abilities, abilities that increase interaction between players, and birds that benefit from excess cards/food. Along with the new bonus cards, they’re designed to be shuffled into the original decks of cards (and cards from future expansions).

The European Expansion also includes an additional tray for storing the growing collection of birds (past, present, and future), as well as 15 purple eggs, extra food tokens, and a colorful new scorepad designed for both multi-player and single-player scoring.

If you are one of the unlucky few still waiting for the base game, we expect to finally have the last of our stock in the next couple of weeks! The majority of of our preorders were filled using stock from Spiral Galaxy a few weeks ago, we are still waiting for our stock from Asmodee). This preorder stock is coming from Spiral Galaxy so we expect to receive our full order in a timely fashion.

The Taverns of Tiefenthal  (In stock now) £33.99 (RRP is £34.99)

In the village of Tiefenthal lies "The Tavern of the Deep Valley". There, all citizens from the area gather, but it's important to attract new, wealthy guests for only then is there enough money to expand the tavern, which will then lure nobles into the tavern as well. But which tavern expansion is best? Should you focus on money? Or rather ensure that the beer will keep flowing?

In The Taverns of Tiefenthal, the challenge is to skillfully choose the dice and develop your personal deck of cards as profitably as possible. The game is structured with five modules so that your group can add extra levels of complexity as you become more familiar with the game.

This has been selling out quicker than we can get it in! We've played this twice this week (there is a copy in the store library), and I enjoy this much more than 'Quacks' - who wouldn't? You get to run your own pub! laugh

Warhammer Underworlds : Beastgrave (in stock now) £41.99 (RRP is £45.00)

Enter the ultimate competitive miniatures game with the Warhammer Underworlds: Beastgrave core set. Inside, you'll find everything you need to start gaming in the depths of Beastgrave, with dice, models, cards and more

I got to play a game of this last week and it's great fun.....I've never played anything Warhammer before but it feels quite a lot like a board game - there's a board with hexes, cards with special powers, objective cards, etc.

Sushi Roll (in stock now) £23.99 (RRP is £24.99)

Rice and dice! Roll with your favorite Sushi Go! characters in Sushi Roll, a dice-based version of the best-selling card game!

Load up the conveyor belts with savory sushi dice — then pick one and pass the rest! Earn points for winning combos like two tempura or a set of sashimi. Grab a menu to re-roll your dice or use chopsticks to swap with an opponent. And be sure to save room for pudding at the end!

Scrawl (Age 17+ version) (in stock now) £19.99

Finally, a drawing party game for people who are absolutely terrible at drawing. Plus, it’s absolutely loaded with adult content.

Each round, you draw a strange picture, then pass it on to the next player in the circle. By the time your delightful drawing passes through your friends’ weird minds, things will have gone horribly wrong.

We saw this being played at Field of Games and had our eyes opened....the pictures being drawn were....hmmm....I really can't say.....but they were accompanied by roars of laughter, not only from those playing, but also the audience that it had attracted!

Gloomhaven (Hot Restock!) £119.99 (RRP is £139.99)

Gloomhaven is a game of Euro-inspired tactical combat in a persistent world of shifting motives. Players will take on the role of a wandering adventurer with their own special set of skills and their own reasons for travelling to this dark corner of the world. Players must work together out of necessity to clear out menacing dungeons and forgotten ruins. In the process they will enhance their abilities with experience and loot, discover new locations to explore and plunder, and expand an ever-branching story fueled by the decisions they make.

A true behemoth of a game that provides an amazing experience as you explore and level up your characters!
