Trading mechanic brings more to manage

The main thrust of this expansion is the new “colonies” you get to trade with. Chosen at random from a pool, 4 are selected, each with unique benefits. The trading mechanic is quite fun and can be useful to gain a resource when just running low. We have however found that if by chance one player gets more “trading” cards than the others it can leave an imbalance as they can effectively get multiple resources every few turns for little cost. It doesn’t happen very often, but can be frustrating when it does.
This expansion also introduces the solar phase, a new turn phase. The rules promise this will be used more in future expansions!
Otherwise it’s a fun expansion the new corporations and cards are good and it slots in well with other expansions such as Venus Next without lengthing the game much (maybe 20mins max)
